Uninstalling ProMass

At some point you may want to uninstall ProMass to perform an upgrade, etc.  Here's how:

  • Ensure that you are logged onto Windows NT/2000/XP with administrator priviledges.
  • Open the Windows control panel and open Add/Remove Programs.
  • Scroll down to the ProMass Deconvolution application and select it.   Click Add/Remove under Windows NT or Change/Remove if you are running Windows 2000 or XP.
  • With versions 2.0 and later, you may also uninstall from the Windows Start menu.  Access Start | Programs | ProMass for Xcalibur | Uninstall to uninstall from the Windows Start menu.
  • Follow any instructions given by the uninstall program.
